I Can Be Kind, I Will Be Kind, We Can Be Kind, We Will
The
Moral of the Story
Kindness helps everyone feel safe
and seen. It turns ordinary moments warm and serene. Gentle words and caring
ways matter each day. They help friendships grow strong in every way. Being
kind is a choice we can make from the heart. Small loving actions are where
kindness starts. I can be kind in all I do and say, and kindness always finds
its way.
I can be kind, said Bear with a
smile,
I will help friends and stay a while.
We can be kind, said Duck with a
quack,
We will make room and welcome you back.
Can you be kind, asked Bunny one
day,
You can, said Fox, in work and in play.
Will you be kind, asked Mouse with a
squeak.
I will, said Deer, to strong and to weak.
They met in a meadow so sunny and
bright,
With flowers and breezes and warm golden light.
A little shy Lamb stood off to the
side,
With head hanging low and nowhere to hide.
I can be kind, said Cat with a purr,
I will sit near you right over here.
We can be kind, said Cow soft and
slow,
We will help you feel safe as we go.
Can you be kind, asked Lamb with a
peek,
You can, said Goose, just listen and speak.
Will you be kind, asked Squirrel at
play,
I will, said Otter, let’s share today.
They shared their snacks and toys, and time,
Taking turns and staying in line.
I can be kind, said Frog with a hop,
I will say sorry when I should stop.
We can be kind, said Owl so wise,
We will listen with caring eyes.
Can you be kind, asked Turtle so
slowly,
You can, said Rabbit, I’ll walk as we go.
Will you be kind, asked Bee with a
buzz.
I will, said Bear, because kindness does.
They helped each other big and
small,
After a stumble or slip, or a fall.
I can be kind, said Ant, so small,
I will help others one and all.
We can be kind, said all with cheer,
We will choose kindness far and near.
As daylight faded and stars came to
play,
They felt proud of the kindness they chose that day.
I can be kind, said Lamb, feeling
strong,
I will choose kindness all day long.
We can be kind, said all together,
We will be kind in all kinds of weather.
You can be kind, they smiled at you,
You will, they nodded, yes, you will too.
The
Moral of the Story Poem:
Kind words help, and kind hands
share,
Kind hearts show others that they care.
Listen gently, help when you can,
Kindness grows from every plan.
I can be kind in big and small ways,
I will choose kindness all my days.
When we are kind in all we do,
The world grows brighter because of you.
