Who Told You, You Weren’t Good Enough?
Who told you that you weren’t good
enough?
Who planted that lie in your mind?
Who made you doubt yourself, shrink yourself, and silence yourself?
Because whoever it was, they were
wrong.
They were wrong then.
They are wrong now.
They will always be wrong.
At some point in life, almost
everyone hears a voice, sometimes from a parent, a teacher, a friend, a boss,
or a bully, that says:
You can’t.
You shouldn’t.
You’re not enough.
You don’t have what it takes.
Those words stick. They burrow deep.
They become fear. They become hesitant. They become the reason people hold
back from life.
But here’s the truth most people
never hear loudly enough:
Those words were never facts. They
were opinions. And often, they were projections of someone else’s fear,
insecurity, or limitation.
You were not born doubting yourself.
You were taught to doubt yourself.
And what is learned… can be
unlearned.
The
Lie That Keeps People Small
Fear survives on one thing: belief
in a lie.
The lie says:
- You’re not smart enough
- You’re not confident enough
- You’re not brave enough
- You’re not outgoing enough
- You don’t belong
But confidence is not a personality
trait.
Courage is not something only a few people get.
Leadership is not reserved for the loudest voice in the room.
Confidence is built.
Strength is developed.
Fear fades when faced.
You don’t need permission to believe
in yourself.
You don’t need approval to trust yourself.
You don’t need validation to love yourself.
The moment you decide to stop believing
the lie, your life begins to change.
The
Truth You Need to Own
Here is the truth; read it slowly:
- You are good enough.
- You always were.
- You are capable of more than you’ve tried.
- You are stronger than your fear.
- You are allowed to take up space.
- You are allowed to lead.
- You are allowed to become more.
The world does not need a smaller
version of you.
It needs a braver one.
Self-love is not arrogance.
Self-belief is not selfish.
Confidence is not ego.
Confidence is simply trusting
yourself enough to show up.
And you can start today.
Not tomorrow.
Not when you feel ready.
Today.
Poem
for Strength and Courage:
You were never broken, only
doubting.
Never weak, only learning to stand.
What they said was never the truth.
It was fear passed hand to hand.
You are stronger than every voice
That tried to quiet your fire inside.
Braver than every doubt you believed.
Wiser than every time you hid.
You have what it takes; you always did.
You are capable, worthy, and whole.
Step out of fear and into yourself.
Take back control of your soul.
Believe in you.
Trust in you.
Stand tall; your life is waiting.
