“Oh! I already know this story!” he announced loudly.

Then he began telling the ending before Tina could continue.

Some of the sea creatures frowned sadly.

Others became quiet.

Daisy gently whispered, “Sammy, you are interrupting.”

Sammy shrugged.

“I am just excited.”

Soon, Benny the Blue Crab stood up to share something.

“My grandma taught me how to stack shells into towers,” Benny explained proudly.

But before Benny could finish, Sammy burst out laughing.

“That sounds boring! Racing is way more fun!”

Benny’s smile disappeared.

He quietly sat back down.

Tina looked thoughtfully at Sammy.

“Words can hurt feelings,” she said softly.

Sammy crossed his fins.

“I did not mean to hurt anyone.”

But the sea creatures no longer looked happy.

One by one, they quietly drifted away from the picnic.

Soon, Sammy sat alone beside the coral reef.

He looked confused.

That evening, Sammy swam slowly beside the sea plants near his home.

Normally, he loved playing and zooming through the water.

And when Pearl dropped some pebbles onto the sand accidentally, Sammy kindly helped pick them up.

“Thank you,” Pearl smiled.
