Touched by Heaven
By Bill Conley
America’s Favorite Children’s Storyteller
A breath of life,
a gift from above,
Whispered softly through the hands of love.
A bubble floats in the morning air.
God’s gentle touch is shining there.
Each glimmer
holds His light divine,
A spark of soul, a sacred sign.
For in this child’s awestruck eyes,
Heaven’s reflection softly lies.
So fragile, pure,
and full of grace,
Eternal love lights up this place.
A moment’s glow, a silent prayer,
God’s presence felt everywhere.
The world stands
still, time drifts away,
As angels guard this break of day.
For innocence reveals the key,
To glimpse the face of Majesty.
And when that
bubble fades from view,
Its light remains, God’s promise true.
For every breath, each fleeting part,
Is heaven’s whisper to the heart.
