A House of Peace
This house is full of love and light,
Where hugs are warm and hearts feel right.
A place to rest, to laugh, to play,
Where kindness lives each night and day.
We use our words, we don’t shout loud,
No pushing, or hitting—it’s not allowed.
Hands are gentle, words are sweet,
In this home, we don’t mistreat.
We share our toys, we take our turn,
We help each other, we live and learn.
If we feel mad, we talk it through,
We don’t throw fits or act untrue.
We lift each other when we fall,
We listen close, and we stand up tall.
If someone’s sad, we show we care,
A loving heart is always fair.
No mean words or angry frowns,
No teasing when someone is down.
We don’t make fun, we don’t exclude,
We always show a grateful mood.
If something breaks, we make it right,
We don’t give up, we try with might.
We help clean up, we do our part,
We show respect with all our hearts.
Our home is safe, our home is bright,
A place where wrongs are made all right.
Respect and love, they grow in here,
With every hug, with every cheer.
So if you enter, know this rule,
Be kind and patient, and stay so cool.
For this is home, our safe release,
A happy place, a house of peace.
