  1. If you promise to meet someone, be there, and be on time.
  2. If you commit to calling someone, make that call at the appointed time and date.
  3. If you assure someone that you'll do something, ensure it's done on time and on the agreed-upon date.
  4. If you plan to be somewhere at a specified time, arrive punctually.
  5. Act on what you say you're going to do; let your actions speak.

Category 2: Commitment and Trust

  1. Honor your commitments always!
  2. Never take your commitment or your relationships for granted.
  3. Recognize that everything you do has a cumulative effect on your relationships.
  4. Never say you'll do something and then fail to follow through; it erodes trust.
  5. Avoid exploiting others' goodwill, kindness, weakness, generosity, and trust.
