Letter from God to me

As part of my life coaching training I was asked to write two letters, one, a letter from me to God and secondly, a letter from God to me.  Below is the letter I wrote from God to me.  I strongly encourage all to take a moment and do the same, write two letters, one to God and one from God. I think will be amazed at what you have to say to God and what God has to say to you.

Dear Bill

Listen to me my son.  I have blessed you with many gifts and talents which I expect you to use for the greater good of my kingdom here on this earth.  I have sent you to this earth to be a beacon of love.

You are a very special soul and one capable of bringing more love to the world. I have chosen you to do just this.

Don’t be afraid and don’t worry about the future, concentrate on loving people today. Focus on listening and validating others.

Give people the message of hope, love and encourage them to be better than they are today.

I expect big things from you. I expect you will use the gifts and talents I have given you to lead other people who are led astray by Satan.

You can do this.

Remember who you are.
Live your life honestly and with truth.  Do not break the law and listen to those in authority.

We have a special relationship Bill. Do not be deceived by others, what is most important is our relationship.  Listen to me and pray to me through your brother, Jesus Christ and listen to the promptings I give to you through the Holy Spirit.  I know you believe in me, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I know you believe in prayer and I know that you have a strong testimony of truthfulness, make sure you aren’t distracted by Satan.  He is cunning and has a tendency to lead you astray, do not listen to his voice.  Listen for my voice of truth. I know you know how to recognize my voice.  Don’t listen to what others are saying, listen for my voice and act accordingly. You know what is right. There are others around you who profess the truth, don’t be fooled.

You are amazing, gifted, talented, articulate, loving, kind, a great Father, a wonderful Husband, an awesome Friend and a leader.

Know that you are loved, that you are cared for and that you are never forgotten. You are a joy to all who meet you. Others are blessed to know you.

Never believe that you are alone, this is not true.

I will work with you to help you achieve that which I have set out for you.

Continue to listen for guidance and instruction and follow the path I will set before you.

You are allowed to make mistakes. When you do, learn from them and move on remembering I have put you on earth to help others to come to know your brother Jesus by the love you share and show for them.

Continue to be kind and vested in other people, this is not about you, this is about others feeling loved by you.

I bless you my Son, I hear you, I am listening and I will always be at your side. There is still much more I have in store for you, trust the journey, live one day at a time, and don’t worry about the future. The future will take care of itself.  Focus and concentrate your efforts of love today. Moment by moment throughout the day, know that I am with you, beside you, guiding you and thank you for listening and your obedience.

I know living on the Earth is hard at times; I will comfort you through difficult times, remember me always in good times and bad, I am there with you.

I bless you Bill, I love you, and you are awesome and amazing.

You are my gift to the world.

The Love of the Lord

Doubt (todays post)

Our choice of words one to another.

You will love today’s post.

Several years ago I spent a great deal of time walking and as I walked I carried a notebook and a pen. I received what I know to be Devine inspiration from God. What you are about to read is what God would like us all to hear. I believe God gave me these words to write down so that I might share them with the world. God our Father in Heaven wants us all to know he Loves us and he also wants us all to know that Love is much more than never having to say you are sorry.

Please take time to reflect on the words given to me by God our Father in Heaven. God has instructed me to tell you that he would like to ask each of you to take the time to read these multiple times until they really soak into your conscience. He knows that by doing this, you will change your life forever. You will also change the lives of everyone around you.

Enjoy what God our Father in Heaven has provided me as a gift to you and to all those you know.

God Bless one and all.

Whenever you are confused about anything, get on your knees and pray to the Lord to receive understanding.

As mortal men we will never figure out the designs of our adversary.

Since the death of Christ, no one on this earth has walked in perfection.

We are all subject to sin.

The evil one uses us all from time to time to deceive others and weaken their relationship with the Lord.

He is very cunning and uses trickery and craftiness to deceive even the most righteous.

His pursuit of evil within each of us is never ending.

If Satan leads you to question or doubt yourself or others he has gained a foothold.

Don’t be deceived by Satan, his designs are pure evil. He uses each of us to deceive one another. He puts thoughts of insecurity into our heads. He is the one who created the concept of low self -esteem, self -worth and respect.

Matthew 14:31You of little faith, Jesus said, why do you doubt. Matthew 21:21, 22Jesus said I tell you the truth if you have faith and do not doubt. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer. Mark 11:23, 24Have faith in God Jesus said. I tell you the truth if anyone says to this mountain, go throw yourself into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes what he says will happen it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. James 1:6 – He must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave on the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Jude: 22 – Be merciful to those who doubt.

Doubt – to be uncertain or sure about. To tend to distrust or disbelieve. A lack of certainty or conviction. An uncertain state of affairs. Synonyms – doubtfulness, dubiety, question, skepticism, uncertainty.

Doubtfulness – not sure, uncertain. Of uncertain outcome, undecided. Equivocal in nature or character, questionable.

Question – an expression of inquiry requiring or inviting an answer, an unresolved matter or problem. Uncertainty, doubt.

Skepticism – a doubting or questioning attitude. The philosophical doctrine that the attainment of absolute knowledge is impossible.

Skeptic – one who habitually doubts or questions.

Uncertainty – not sure, doubtful. Not yet determined or settled. Likely to change, variable. Not capable of knowing in advance.

Some people are prone to doubt or disbelief, take Doubting Thomas for example. Even though he was told by countless others who he trusted that Jesus had been resurrected from the dead, he would not believe them until he had put his hands through the nail holes left in his wrist and feet.

John 20:25Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were and put my hand on my side, I will not believe it. Jesus said in verse 27Put your finger here, see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe. Verse 29 – Because you have seen me you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.

Doubt is a lack of faith or belief.

The Lord calls us to stop doubting and believe.

When others doubt, question, are skeptical, are uncertain, what they are displaying is a lack of faith.

Satan is the prince of darkness and one of his evil under links is a notion called doubt, uncertainty and fear.

Doubt is the opposite of faith.

Trust and believe in the Lord, he will not let you down.

Matthew 8:25, 26Jesus calms the storm. Lord saves us! We are going to drown. He replied you of little faith, why are you so afraid. Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves and it was completely calm.

When it seems like your world is crashing in on you, have faith and believe in the name of Jesus, he is capable of helping you weather any storm life has to offer you.

Jesus walked on water. Matthew 14:30-32 – But when he (Peter) saw the wind, he was afraid and began to sink, cried out, oh Lord save me. Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. You of little faith, he said, why did you doubt? And then he climbed into the boat, the wind died down.

If Thomas an apostle, all of the apostles and Peter an apostle all had doubts and questions regarding their faith and saw Jesus, how difficult is it for us to believe and have faith never having seen Jesus.

Jesus said blessed are they that have never seen, who trust and believe in the Lord, who love and serve the knowledge with all their heart, faithfully with expectation, who obey and never doubt.

It is not easy to have absolute, total and complete faith, belief and trust in the Lord; however it is possible to get close through prayer and obedience to his word.

When in doubt, pray out loud!

When in fear, don’t despair, Jesus is near!

When uncertain, lift the curtain that hides your eyes, which make you wise.

And when all else fails, pray and have faith and believe that Jesus will answer your prayers. Thank you Lord for this time together, thank you for the insight. Thanks you Jesus for your sacrifice on the cross, thanks to you Holy Spirit for your guidance and counsel, thank you all for your love. I love you all, Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ. I humble myself before you and submit myself to your will.

Tomorrows post reminds us of the importance of choosing our words carefully.

Answers to prayer, Does God answers our prayers?

Answers to prayer

I was reading through John and several verses regarding answers to prayers leap out at me.

John 14:13 – And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring glory to the father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

John 16:23, 24 – In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my father will give you whatever you ask in my name, until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Matthew 18:19, 20Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them.

Matthew 7:7, 8Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds and to him who knocks, the door will be open.

Matthew 21:21, 22Jesus replied, I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what I have done to the fig tree, but you can also say to the mountain, go throw yourself into the sea and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer

Mark 11:24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours

John 15:7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given you.

Hebrews 4:16Let us the approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

37:4Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

John 3:22Receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

Matthew 17:20, 10He replied, because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard see you can say to the mountains, move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

I think it is very clear from these passages that if you but have faith as small as mustard seed, Heavenly Father will hear your prayers and answer them. There are some pretty amazing verses in scriptures as it relates to answers to prayer.

It seems as though the writers of the various scriptures, intended to tell us if we just but pray, Heavenly Father will give us the desires of our heart.

Do they say if it is according to his will?

No!

Does this actually happen?

Do any of the verses include time frame?

Do they say the Lord will answer our prayer?

Yes!

So I ask the question again, is everything you pray for given to you?

I am sure the answer to this is no.

Of course it is not.

Does that mean we are not obeying the word of the Lord?

Does it mean we are not righteous?

What does it mean when we don’t get an answer to a specific prayer?

Is the Lord saying no?

I thought it said in these verses that he would give us the desires of our heart. Do the verses talk about our minds, our bodies, our soul or our spirit?

Does it say he will give us the desires of our spirit?

I don’t know why the Lord does not answer all our prayers as we would like him to.

Is he listening?

Yes I believe so.

It is important to have faith and believe as though he will answer your prayers.

Most of the verses do not refer to faith. They do say to believe which is the same thing as faith. I have full faith and confidence that the Lord is capable of anything.

What is impossible for man is possible for God.

I believe he created the heavens and the earth and everything in the heavens and the earth including me.

Do I know how this was done?

No.

Would I like to know how this was done?

Yes.

Will I ever know how this was done?

No.

This is where faith steps in.

We are but a blip in time, we will never have all the answers to our questions, and this is where faith steps in.

Does our Heavenly Father answer prayer?

Absolutely!

Should we expect him to?

Yes.

Put aside questions that are impossible to answer, have faith and believe and you will receive according to the desires of your heart. If you don’t receive the answer you were looking for it is not because of a lack of faith, some things were simply not meant to be, accept it and move on.

Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ, I love you Lord.

Amen

Later in the day… a couple of thoughts and prayer

Mark 9:23Everything is possible for those who believe. We should ask our Lord to help us overcome our unbelief. Mark 9:24. Mark 10:27With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.

I know and have faith that in God all things are possible.

I believe in the Lord, I believe he has the power to do anything, any miracle. I love you Lord. I just pray Lord that you continue to keep me away from all evil. I pray that the blood of Jesus Christ is upon me and the Satan flees from around me. I choose light over darkness. I choose truth over dishonest, I choose righteousness over sin. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ. You are my savior and my redeemer in whom I trust. I will pray continuously, thank you for hearing my prayers and answering them.

Amen.

When a person is busy their mind does not have time to think about inspirational things. The problem with most people including myself yesterday, today and again tomorrow is that I stay so busy I don’t have time to think. I am on autopilot. I don’t take the time to evaluate various things in life; I just react to life as it happens. I am in reaction mode versus proactive mode. I feel very blessed to have the Lord in my life.

I am comforted every day and I know he hears my prayers and answers my prayers.

I know he takes care of me and protects me from the evil one. I love you Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ. I give you the honor and glory. Thank you for all my many blessings, thank you for watching over my family.

Amen.
