Moral
of the Story:
Taking care of yourself shows love
for your body and your family. Bath time isn’t just about getting clean; it’s
about feeling fresh and ready for a new day. A warm bath can wash away worries,
dirt, and tiredness all at once. When you understand why something
matters, it becomes easier to enjoy. Every bubble, splash, and giggle makes
bath time something special. Clean fur, happy hearts, and sweet dreams always
follow a good bath. Learning to enjoy the little things, like bath time, makes
every day brighter. When you take pride in being clean, you shine inside and
out!
In a cozy burrow under the big oak
tree lived a cheerful little bunny named Benny.
Benny loved hopping through mud puddles, digging for treasures in the garden,
and rolling in the meadow grass.
He loved everything, except
bath time.
Whenever his mom said, “Benny, it’s
time for your bath!” Benny would frown and stomp a little paw.
“But, Mom! Baths are boring! And I don’t need one. I’m not that dirty!”
Mom would smile patiently.
“Sweetheart, look at your fur—it’s more brown than white right now!”
Benny giggled. “That just means I
had fun today!”
One evening, after a particularly
adventurous day of playing in the muddy pond with his friends, Benny came home
covered in splashes, grass, and bits of leaves. His ears even had speckles of
dirt.
Mom shook her head gently. “Oh, my
little explorer, you’re bringing half the forest inside! Come on, it’s bath
time.”
Benny groaned. “But Mom, can’t I skip
it just this once?”
Dad looked up from his chair and
said with a grin, “Even explorers have to stay clean, Benny. Bath time is how
we take care of ourselves.”
Benny tilted his head. “Why is being
clean so important anyway?”
Mom smiled. “Well, let’s talk about
that.” She sat beside him and brushed a bit of mud from his paw. “When you take
a bath, you’re washing away the germs that can make you itchy or sick. It helps
your fur stay soft and your skin healthy.”
Dad added, “And it’s not just about
being clean, Benny. It’s also about feeling fresh. When you’re clean,
you sleep better, you smell nice, and you feel ready for tomorrow’s
adventures.”
Benny thought about that. “So… baths
aren’t just to make me shiny? They’re to help me feel good, too?”
“Exactly!” said Mom. “Bath time is
one of the ways we show love to ourselves.”
Still, Benny frowned a little. “But
they’re still kinda boring.”
Mom winked. “Well, maybe we can
change that.”
That evening, Mom filled the tub
with warm water and bubbles, lots and lots of bubbles! She poured in special
carrot-scented bubble soap, and soon the bathroom smelled like Benny’s favorite
snack.
Benny peeked in and gasped. “Whoa!
That smells amazing!”
Dad came in holding a little yellow
duck toy. “Meet Quackers,” he said. “He’s going to help you guard the bubbles!”
Benny laughed and hopped into the
tub. The warm water wrapped around him like a hug. He dipped his paws in, blew
bubbles through his whiskers, and made Quackers float across the waves.
“This is actually… kinda fun!” he
said with surprise.
Mom smiled. “See? Sometimes it just
takes a little imagination.”
Benny began to hum as he splashed,
making mountains out of bubbles and pretending he was the captain of a boat
sailing across a foamy sea.
“Captain Benny!” Dad called. “Are
you ready for clean-fur duty?”
“Aye, aye!” Benny said, saluting
with a soapy paw.
Mom gently washed behind his ears,
and Benny giggled. “That tickles!”
When it was time to rinse, Benny
tilted his head back and closed his eyes. The warm water ran down his fur,
washing away all the mud and worries from the day.
When he stepped out, his fur was
fluffy and bright again, and he smelled like sweet carrots.
Mom wrapped him in a soft towel.
“There’s my handsome little bunny!”
Benny grinned. “You were right, Mom.
I do feel better. I feel light and happy!”
Dad smiled. “That’s the power of
clean.”
That night, as Benny snuggled into
bed, he felt cozy and calm. The moonlight glowed softly through his window, and
his clean fur smelled like love and comfort.
Just before he drifted off to sleep,
he whispered, “Bath time’s not so bad after all.”
The next evening, as the sun began
to set, Mom called from the bathroom, “Benny, it’s bath time!”
Before she could even finish, Benny
came hopping down the hall with his towel and Quackers in paw.
“Really?” said Mom, laughing.
“You’re excited?”
Benny nodded proudly. “Of course! I
can’t wait for my bubbles and my carrot smell and my splash time!”
Mom and Dad smiled at each other.
Bath time had become one of Benny’s favorite parts of the day, a time for fun,
laughter, and love.
And from that day forward, whenever
the water started running, Benny would call out happily, “It’s bubble time!”
Poem:
Bubbles pop and giggles fly,
Bath time makes the day go by.
Wash away the dirt and play,
Fresh and happy, clean today.
Splash and laugh, the water’s warm,
Safe and snug from every storm.
Clean inside and out, you’ll see,
Bath time’s where you’re meant to be!
