Matthew 17:20 If you have faith as small as a mustard seed. 2 Chronicles 20:20 – Have faith in the Lord, your God, and you will be upheld. Mark 11:22 Have faith in God, Jesus answered. Romans 3:22 – Righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. 2 Corinthians 5:7 – We live by faith and not by sight. Faith is things hoped for but not seen.

Trust

Proverbs 78:28He who trusts in himself is a fool. Romans 9:33 – and one who trusts in Him will never be put to shame. Psalms 35:10 – the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts Him. Psalms 37:3 – Trust in the Lord and do good. 56:4 – In God I trust, I will not be afraid, what can a mortal man do to me. Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

Faith – Belief in the truth, value or trustworthiness of someone or something 2. Loyalty or allegiance 3. Belief or trust in God.

Give

Matthew 3:34But when you give to the needy, do not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father sees what is done in secret and will reward you. 2 Corinthians 8:7But just as you excel in everything – see that you also excel in the grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 9:7Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver. Matthew 10:8 – Freely you have received, freely give. Acts 20:35 – It is more blessed to give than receive. Romans 12:8Give generously.

Give – to make a present of 2. To furnish, provide 3. To accord or relinquish to another; yield.

Obey

2 John 1:6This is love that we walk in obedience to his commands, his command is that you walk in love. Deuteronomy 13:4Obey Him with all your heart. Psalm 119:34 – Obey with all your heart. Matthew 28:20Obey everything I have commanded. John 14:23 – Loves me, he will obey my teachings. Acts 5:29 – We must obey God rather than men.

Obey – to carry out the instructions 2. To comply with a command.

Obedient – obeying or willing to obey a command.

Are you getting the picture, the Good Lord requires faith, obedience, trust and charity. There is nothing in the scriptures which instructs us to look out for #1, be selfish, be a taker, don’t think of others, and look out for one's own interest. We are to do just the opposite. Thank you Lord for this time together reading your scriptures. Praise and glory be yours my Heavenly Father. I love you Lord Jesus.
