Don’t
bite off more than you can chew
Don’t
bite off more that you can chew.
In
other words don’t overextend yourself to the point where you can’t keep your
commitments or that you are doing a job only halfway either because you are
tired or your heart is not into it for whatever reason.
Limit
you’re extra-curricular activated to one at a time.
If you are going
to do something, do it well or don’t do it at all.
In
other words, don’t do anything half way or finish half the job.
Always
see everything through to completion.
Leave
some time for yourself every day; you will need this to recharge your
batteries.
Watch
what you commit to – don’t commit to things you know you won’t be able to do,
or that will be difficult for you to do.
The
worst thing you can do is give your word to someone that you will do something
and then not do it; this means everything from a phone call, to picking up a
toy to a major project at school or work.
Follow
through on everything, this way people will learn to depend on you, count on
you, trust you, believe and respect you.
People
will lose respect for you every time you don’t follow through on your word.
Remember to be
in service of others, do things for others.
It
is not so much the quantity of what you do for others, but the quality of what
you do for others that counts.
I
love you Lord.
Don’t
sweat the small stuff
First
of all the Lord has told us to be slow to anger, that we are not supposed to
quarrel or fight with our neighbors. He prefers that we don’t get mad, anxious,
or worry about things or events.
In
other words, don’t worry about the small stuff.
Worrying
is not going to do anything for you. Certainly don’t start a fight with someone
over something that is trivial.
Trivial – relatively
insignificant, unimportant. Commonplace, ordinary.
We
will have problems in our life pop up every hour of every day.
Don’t worry at
it – this too shall pass.
We are no
better than anyone else.
We are all equal
in the Lord's eyes.
He will show no
favoritism to those who have and those who have not.
In
fact, the have not’s have a better chance of Eternal Salvation.
Life
is not about how much you accumulate as much as it is with what you did to
build the Lords kingdom with that which the Lord has given you stewardship
over.
Thank
you Lord for being with me as I write a few things down today, even though I
didn’t have much on my mind, you seem to always share something with me and for
that I am grateful.
I
love you Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus
Christ.
