Setting
priorities
Prioritize – to dispose of
or handle in order of importance.
Who
is #1 in your life?
Is
it the Lord?
Remember
each day to pray continuously and obey the commands of the Lord. We need to set
the Lord as our #1 priority!
He
comes before TV, before activities, before we retire for the evening, before,
before, before. The list could go on and on and on.
The
important thing in life is obedience to the word.
That
is easier said than done.
Our
lives get so busy that it is easy to put the Lord on the back burner.
We
have all kinds of excuses, work, exercise, social events, TV, sporting events,
kids, activities, meal preparation, housework, church obligations, just to
mention a few. We have to keep in mind what is the most important person in our
life – our Heavenly Father.
Make
time to pray to him every day; study his word and most importantly before any
decision you make in your life ask yourself, how will this glorify the Lord?
The
Lord asks us to be ethical, honesty, truthful, compassionate, nonjudgmental,
loving when we deal with our fellow man.
There
is no need for guilt in our lives, replace guilt with love and acceptance.
Don’t
bite off more than you can chew, keep it simple.
Remember
the best things in life are free, they are simple and begin with love.
Accept
your calling, listen for the voice of the Lord, don’t get down on yourself, set
realistic goals, do the will of the Lord.
He
will let you know what he wants you to do. I love you my Lord.
Amen.
