Sin Anonymous

 

I was thinking I should develop a group called “Sin Anonymous”.

 

We have AA, Gamblers Anonymous, and Overeaters Anonymous.

 

All these discuss the symptoms but fail to cure the cause. The cause of all our problems in life is wrapped up into one word – “Sin”.

 

Until we learn to accept the fact that we are sinners, we will be sinners all our life and that if we want to get healthy we have to stay away from sinning, we are destine to continue to wallow in pain, misery, suffering and despair.

 

There is an answer, it is to first recognize that you are a sinner, you must understand what a sin is, you must acknowledge you are a sinner; you must be willing to accept that you have no control over sin and that it has control over you.

 

Then you must decide you want to change and that you cannot do it on your own.

 

Well the doctor is in, he is always in, and his door is always open.

 

Matthew 7:7 – Knock and the door will be opened.

 

You need to begin by knocking on the door of our Lord, accept Jesus as your personal savior and then use the support group of Sin Anonymous to help you take your antibiotic.

 

We have a lot of places called by another name other than “Sin Anonymous,” they are called church.

 

Church is the house of the Lord where antibiotics are freely served in abundance.
